This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (hivorealestate.com), how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using our website or submitting any form, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
- We use SMS to confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify clients of schedule updates or important changes.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect personal information you voluntarily submit through the following forms on our website:
- Contact Form (/contact and the homepage contact section): full name, email address, phone number (optional), and message.
- Sell Your Home Form (/sell): full name, email address, phone number, property address, property type, desired selling timeline, and additional details.
- Agent Contact Forms (/agents/[name]): full name, email address, phone number (optional), and a message directed to a specific agent.
- Home Value Wizard (/home-worth): property address and geographic coordinates, property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, approximate square footage, lot size, property condition, recent upgrades (selected from a list), selling timeline, additional notes, and your full name, email address, and phone number (optional).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:
- Browser type, version, and device type
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring URL (how you arrived at our site)
- IP address (used for analytics and abuse prevention)
- Date and time of visits
- Interaction events such as button clicks, form starts, and page scrolls (via Google Tag Manager)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries — When you submit a contact or agent form, we use your name, email, and phone number to follow up with you.
- To provide home value estimates — When you complete the Home Value Wizard, your property data and contact details are used to prepare a property valuation and connect you with a local agent.
- To facilitate real estate transactions — Information submitted through the Sell form is used to evaluate your property and initiate the listing process.
- To send transactional communications — We may send confirmation emails acknowledging receipt of your inquiry and follow-up communications related to your request.
- To deliver internal notifications — Your inquiry details are forwarded to our brokerage team via email and team messaging so that agents can respond promptly.
- To improve our website — We analyze aggregated usage data to understand how visitors interact with our site and to improve the user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations — We may use or retain information as required by Texas law, TREC regulations, or other applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with the following third-party service providers solely to operate our website and deliver the services you request. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing its data practices. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Supabase
Database Storage
All form submissions — including name, email, phone number, property details, and inquiry content — are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. Supabase processes data on our behalf and does not use your information for its own purposes.
Resend
Transactional Email
Your name, email address, and inquiry content are transmitted to Resend to deliver confirmation emails (sent from noreply@contact.hivorealestate.com) and broker notification emails. Resend acts as our email delivery service provider.
HERE Maps
Address Geocoding
Property addresses entered in the Home Value Wizard are sent through a server-side proxy to HERE Maps to return geographic coordinates. Your address is not stored by HERE Maps on our behalf beyond the scope of that single request.
Google Tag Manager
Tag Management & Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-TGBLZBFR) to manage analytics tags. GTM tracks interaction events such as form starts, form submissions, page views, and button clicks. GTM may load additional third-party scripts including Google Analytics.
Vercel Analytics
Web Performance Analytics
Vercel Analytics collects aggregated page view and web performance data to help us understand site usage. Vercel does not receive your form submission data or personally identifiable information from our forms.
Pumble
Internal Team Notifications
Inquiry summaries — including your name, contact details, and property information — may be forwarded to our brokerage team via Pumble for rapid agent response. Pumble is used exclusively for internal team communication.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HIVO Real Estate, our clients, or others.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses the following cookies and browser storage mechanisms:
- Supabase authentication tokens — If you sign in to a password-protected area of our site, Supabase stores a session token in your browser. This token is required for authentication and expires upon logout or session end.
- Google Tag Manager — GTM may set cookies to facilitate analytics event tracking and may load third-party scripts that set their own cookies, including Google Analytics cookies.
- Vercel Analytics — Vercel may collect anonymized performance data. This does not typically involve persistent cookies tied to your identity.
By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described above. If you wish to control cookies, you may adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies; however, some functionality (such as the agent portal) may be affected. Most browsers also allow you to opt out of interest-based advertising through their privacy settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including:
- Lead a gnd inquiry records — Retained to support potential future real estate transactions and for compliance with TREC recordkeeping requirements. Texas law requires brokers to retain transaction-related records for a minimum of four (4) years.
- Home Value Wizard submissions — Retained to support follow-up consultations and historical market data analysis.
- Email records — Retained in accordance with Resend's data retention policies and our internal recordkeeping practices.
- Analytics data — Aggregated and anonymized usage data may be retained for extended periods to support long-term trend analysis.
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 8. We will honor deletion requests to the extent permitted by law and our TREC compliance obligations.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access — You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-out of communications — You may opt out of marketing or follow-up communications by replying to any email we send and requesting removal, or by contacting us directly. To opt out of text messages, reply STOP to any text message from us.
